This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?
How exciting! While we handle the setup and interaction, there are a few small things you should keep in mind during your photoshoot:
Remove All Items From Your Pockets — Nobody wants to see the outline of your phone in your pocket in your beautiful photos! Please remove keys, wallets, phones, and all other items from your pockets during the session. If you don't have a safe place for these items, we can hold onto them until the completion of your photoshoot.
Don't Be Afraid to Ask Questions — Not sure where to stand or put your hands? While we will direct you on how to pose, many of the photos we take are candid, natural images that showcase your natural self. If you're unsure of where to look or if you should smile, please don't hesitate to ask us.
Wear Something That Makes You Feel Comfortable — A photoshoot isn't the best time to reinvent yourself. Sporting a new hairstyle, wearing a new dress, or modifying your makeup can leave you focusing on your looks rather than being yourself. And stress does not photograph well. Please, wear something that you know is comfortable and you look good in.
Can you recommend any good locations?
Absolutely! There are many beautiful locations in and around Duluth that we would be happy to recommend. If you don't have a site in mind for your photoshoot, don't hesitate message us for recommendations.
Are the travel expenses included in your packages?
No. Any travel outside of a 20-mile radius of Duluth will incur additional travel expenses. This includes fuel charges, possible hotel expenses, and any other associated travel costs. If you have any questions about our travel fees, please contact us.
What if the weather is bad on the day of an outdoor shoot?
If the forecast calls for inclement weather, we will contact you to reschedule or find an agreed upon indoor location. If the weather is only mildly poor, such a slight drizzle, flurry, or fog, we plan to continue with the photoshoot as scheduled. However, we will also offer an another date for the photoshoot just in case.
